To really get to grips with the city''s major sights you need at least a week. Aix en Provence holds historical significance from a different era. It is famous for its romanesque fountains and its wide Roman roads, originally constructed so that two Roman carriages could pass through, are still beautifully in tact. Then there is Paris. A whole new kettle of fish. Traditionally, the Parisians hate the French and the French don''t care all that much for the Parisians, but these boundaries are slowly dissolving and France is learning to appreciate its own cultural diversity. Paris is the place to go for all city lovers, offering heaps of culture, fashion, haute cuisine and fabulous nightlife. Unmissable.
