By: Aeronx Mc Mall

ABBYY recently announced its new application ABBYY Tutor, a solution which builds a user's vocabulary, designed for MS Windows mobile devices. This recent version is useful for Russian-speaking people and allows them to quickly learn English words.
This latest mobile app is a needed tool for users that have various proficiency levels of English, and for people that might need help in expanding their vocabulary in various subject areas. The app combines methods for learning new words with dictionaries which work on the basis of ABBYY Lingvo x3. The app offers five hundred widely used entries that are arranged in accordance with how frequently they are used. Subject dictionaries have been additionally featured containing common topics such as work, travel, restaurants and weather. Users may also create their own dictionaries by adding more words from different sources.
There are also four exercises which help users learn new words. The app also includes a test to allow users to see their actual proficiency level. After the test has been taken, ABBYY Tutor suggests words from the user level and skips such from lower levels. The words that the person spells incorrectly are suggested for revision.
