However, buttonholes and corsages can be worn by any member of the wedding party. When choosing flowers for the buttonholes for the men in your wedding party, and corsages for the mothers of the bride and groom, again their outfit colour matters. Traditionally women should have a larger version of the buttonholes used for the men, with usually double the amount of flowers used. You can use fresh, but may want to consider realistic silk flowers as a sturdier alternative that will last the day.
