This can be utilized only for large quantities of indoor printing as posters, leaflets, pin-ups, etc. A different type of digital large format printing is the vinyl fabric banners. It is UV coated in order to prevent the sun from wearing off the print. This UV protection also offers an additional sheen to the finished printing. The final printing is not smooth as in the case of the artist canvas or the gloss printing. Rather it is grainy. This gives the best impression whenever viewed from the distance and is generally used for outdoor printing purposes alone. Like the other groups, it is water-resistant, sun proof, and tear-resistant and may last for a very long time. It is used for billboards, banners, etc.
