The State Historical Museum of Russia is a museum of Russia's history set between Red Square and Manege Square. There are exhibitions of relics of the prehistoric peoples that live on the territory of present-day Russia as well as extremely valuable masterpieces of art obtained by the Romanovs. The total number of works of art in the museum's collection amounts to millions.
