With Palmanova a major tourist area on the popular Spanish holiday island of Majorca, it is no surprise to find that the town has its own extensive Tourist Information Centre. Located at the Calle Passeig de la Mar, it is a great place to stop by when you arrive to find out about the latest events and festivals, as well as local attractions.

Mini golf fans of all ages will love Golf Fantasia in Palmanova. A truly impressive course and lots of fun, you will find yourself surrounded by waterfalls, tropical gardens bursting with exotic plants as well as hidden caves to explore. Golf Fantasia is located at Calle Tenis and is open from 10am through to 2am throughout the year.

Take a short trip along the coast from Palmanova to Portals Nous on Marineland. Many tour operators run trips here from all over the island and you will see sealions, parrot shows, dolphins and a whole variety of sea life.

A cinema with a difference awaits you at Magaluf. Just behind the House of Katmandu on the Avda Pedro Vaqer Ramis you will find the 4D Experience, an extreme motion cinema where you can choose between 6 rides. With moving seats, spectacular 3D effects and special effects, this is a cinema experience like no other.

The perfect night out for couples, you can learn a spot of ballroom dancing, modern ballroom, salsa and more at the Pickles Ballroom and Dance Studio on the Avenida Notario Alemany in Magaluf. As well as lessons, there are social dances on Wednesday and Friday nights too.

Several venues around Palmanova pride themselves on providing top class entertainment to rival Broadway. One of the biggest hits of recent years is the spectacular Pirates Adventure. This is a dinner and a show package where you can sit back and enjoy an evening of singing, breathtaking dancing and fabulous acrobatic performances.

Alongside Pirates Adventure, one of the most popular shows in Palmanova features the music of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Junior et al. Come Fly With Me takes place at the wholly appropriate Gran Casino Theatre at Sol de Mallorca. As well as the music, there are fantastic acrobatic and dance performances in the stunning style of the Cirque du Soleil.

With so much going on in Palmanova, it can be easy to forget that one of the biggest attractions there that is guaranteed to please every visitor is also free to everyone. The golden beaches of Palmanova are a day out in themselves, where you can enjoy the sun, sea and surf, as well as tapas and cocktails on the beach.
