However, in the UK, our trains aren't quite up to scratch when compared to our European counterparts. Some airport services use modern 'green' trains, but others have yet to still rely on older 'dirtier' trains that don't exactly have the environment's best interests at heart. You probably won't know what type you will get until you get to the station. Another positive choice for the environment is to travel by coach.
