Six Social Bookmarking Tips for SEO Purposes

Mix up your bookmarked content.

Don't always submit with the same account.

If you are aiming for the front page of Digg, it is essential that you use different accounts when bookmarking your websites. If possible, get a friend to submit your website for you, and then use your own account to give it an initial push. Follow up by having other users promote your content until it hits the front page.

Slow and steady can be a good strategy.

When you go high-profile, you are also going high-risk. If your websites are not exactly designed for the social bookmarking audience, it is best to shoot for many small submissions, rather than one major one. It only takes one flag to be marked as spam, and if you have got affiliate content it is best to keep your pages relatively low-profile.
