Hands are ranked in order, with Royal Flush being the best, and High Card being the lowest. Royal Flush - A very difficult hand to come across ? this is a sequence of 10, Jack, Queen, King, Ace of the same suit. You''ll be in the money if you have this hand! Straight Flush - Any straight with five cards from the same suit. Four of a Kind - Four cards of the same value. When two players have the same Four of a Kind, then whoever has the highest fifth card or ''kicker'' wins the hand. Full House - Three cards of the same value combined with a pair of the same value. Aces full of Kings, or three Aces and two Kings, is the highest full house possible. Flush - Five cards of the same suit (not consecutive) the highest value card of the flush determines the value of the flush, so a flush with an Ace would be the highest possible. Straight - Five consecutive cards which are not all from the same suit. Aces can count as high or low in a straight. A straight from Ace to five is the lowest possible straight. Two Pair ? Two pairs of cards of the same rank ? so Ace-Ace, King-King would be the highest two pair. One Pair ? Any two cards of the same rank. High Card ? Any hand not listed above. The highest card is put forward.
