Ellis Island Museum Ellis Island Museum features three stories of information related to the immigrants who passed through the island from the year 1892 through 1954. The Cloisters sit on a finely landscaped hill near the Hudson River. Beautiful landscaped gardens and elaborate plant arrangements add to the tranquil ambiance of this location.
