I have never really heard good things about Ibiza. All the clubs and whatnot seem to turn people off in a way that cannot really put into words. Sufficed to say, films like Kevin And Perry Go Large have done very little to enhance the reputation of the place. However, if this doesn''t bother you in the slightest and is in fact the reason why you are going in the first place, then you are definitely set for a fantastic holiday. The vast amount of clubs available and the sheer abundance of things to do in this small place are absolutely perfect for a bunch of teenagers. Now, I am not for a moment advocating this as a holiday destination if you want a bit of peace and quiet, but as a place to go to completely lose yourself it is exactly what the doctor ordered. Still, Ibiza is not a one trick pony. Fairly large parts of the island are protected and registered as U.N. World Heritage sites, so much so in fact that the landscape is regularly used by companies and artists for photographic and film shoots. There are also thousands of little places that are largely unexplored by tourists, thousands of little coves and inlets for example, that provide an excellent place for a (relatively) peaceful getaway form the hedonistic clubbing scene. The island is small, but not tiny, so you need to rent a car to see it properly. Ritmo cars are the people most tourists go to for cheap car hire in Ibiza, but if you are willing to shop around you may find better deals. Another good thing about the islands reputation is that, as a destination well established over the last few years, there are plenty of airline carriers willing to take you out. Basically, flights are very cheap and should you do a bit of groundwork on the internet before buying your ticket, you may find some really rather good prices. Basically, the island is exactly as you would expect it to be. Many don''t like it, but if you are one of those that it sounds appealing to then chances are you will not find a better holiday destination.
